MONTEREY – Those who offer short-term rentals got a clearer understanding of their obligations Tuesday.
Lodging establishment owners heard from Highland’s commissioner of revenue, Yvonne Wimer, who explained the years-long state-level changes related to the industry, and the recent ordinance established by county supervisors to create a registry.
“We have had four ordinances since I came into office six years ago,” Wimer explained.
