A shop owner prevented burglars from escaping with expensive perfumes from her DA drugstore and perfumery on the Markt in Hapert early Friday morning after the thieves smashed the store’s glass front with sledgehammers, Omroep Brabant reports.The owner was awakened by the noise and the alarm and went to investigate. Upon seeing her, the two fled, leaving their loot behind on the street in two large bags.
