When the Titan submarine disappeared in 2023 during a dive to the wreck of the Titanic, David Lochridge hoped the five people on board, including his former boss, would be rescued. He had previously been fired from OceanGate after warning of safety issues. He sued his former employer but withdrew under pressure from OceanGate's lawyers. "They crushed us," he says. Lochridge also alerted a government agency, but to no avail.
