The Class 5A North Div. II and Div. III all-region football teams were released last week with a plethora of area players earning postseason honors.

BRAINERD — Quarterback Ty Nelson received the MVP for the Brainerd Warriors at their team banquet Saturday, Nov. 16. In eight games, Nelson finished with 955 passing yards on 68-128 attempts with seven touchdowns and three interceptions. He also rushed for 558 yards and seven touchdowns on 96 carries.
