Sharad Pawar Hospitalised in Pune Due to Chest Congestion, Exertion
Sharad Pawar, 85, admitted with chest infection and breathing issues linked to physical exertion, remains stable under observation at Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune, doctors said.

- Sharad Pawar developed a throat infection with persistent cough and chest congestion, and a CT scan showed a chest infection, Ruby Hall Clinic chief cardiologist Dr Parvez Grant said, linking it to physical exertion.
- He arrived from Baramati around 100 km away, walked out of his MPV unaided, and was wheeled into a private room where the Ruby Hall Clinic medical team monitors him; Dr Parvez Grant said, `After all the tests, we may admit him for a day`.
- Doctors will decide on a Mumbai transfer after test results are in, and the family says hospital protocol will be followed with no visitors allowed during monitoring.
