On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at approximately 8:50 p.m., while traveling south on Missouri Highway 19 near the Jacks Fork River Bridge, Captain Brumble of the Shannon County Sheriff’s Department observed a vehicle approaching from behind at what appeared to be a high rate of speed.
