Three months after the Lyhanna case, the Attorney General of the Court of Appeal of Angers, Carole Étienne, answered questions from the Courier de l'Ouest. During the summer, 510 persons were detained for rape or sexual assault of minors and 70 judicial information was opened on the jurisdiction which includes Maine-et-Loire, Sarthe and Mayenne.
