Lenoir man charged with animal cruelty - WCCB Charlotte

A Lenoir man was arrested after officers found a horse tied to a tree behind his home, according to a news release. Officers located the black horse tied to a tree approximately 70 yards behind Holden Miller’s home.  Officials said the horse was lacking food and water and was severely malnourished. The horse died a few days after being seized. Miller was charged with felony animal cruelty and is being held at the Caldwell County Detention Center…
