Severe storms possible tonight across parts of southwest Iowa (3/27)
(Des Moines, Iowa) – The National Weather Service in Des Moines says severe storms are possible tonight (Thursday night) across parts of southwest Iowa. Hail will be the main threat. The storms are expected to form at around 8-p.m. and continue through 4-a.m., Friday. The Weather Service says there is a “Slight risk over southwest Iowa, marginal risk over the rest of southern into parts of central Iowa.”
