Two tornadoes from the same storm cell caused damage and left over 3,500 customers without power in central Oklahoma, officials said.

- Two Purcell schools closed Thursday after power outages, utility crews with City of Edmond, Stillwater and OMPA worked to restore service, and a semitrailer on Interstate 35 near Purcell was blown over causing minor injury.
- Survey teams are still assessing damage in Shawnee, Oklahoma, where the severe threat ended around 8:20 a.m., and all tornado warnings expired by 9:30 a.m., officials said.
