- Claiming the area was "prohibited and unsafe," the Revolutionary Guards of Iran reported they attacked several vessels and tankers in response, alleging the 10 ships crossed the Strait of Hormuz.
- Separately, UKMTO reported an incident Wednesday 24 nautical miles from Port Rashid in the United Arab Emirates, where a vessel appeared to be taking on water after an unknown projectile strike.
- The British navy-affiliated UKMTO agency said on Wednesday it is unable to confirm any casualties or environmental impacts from the overnight military activity in the region.
