2 Dead, 9 Wounded in Trenton, New Jersey, Shooting, Police Say

On Sunday, a mass shooting at a neighborhood gathering in Trenton, New Jersey, left two people dead and nine others hospitalized. Police responded to the 100 block of Locust Street around 12:25 a.m. EDT.
Family gathered for a neighborhood cookout before the gunfire erupted. Upon arrival, Police located 11 victims suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene.
Investigators placed nearly 40 evidence markers along the ground at the scene. Police taped off the entrance to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where a damaged vehicle was towed from the emergency room.
The Mercer County Prosecutor and Office Homicide Task Force are investigating the shooting. As of Sunday, Police have not announced any arrests or a motive, and victim identities remain unreleased.
