Seven rules for new DWP cost of living payment and how to check you qualify

The first payment will be made between April 25 and May 17. It is just the first of three payments to be made over the 2023/2024 financial year to more than eight million people. The next payment of £300 comes in the autumn and the second of £299 in spring 2024. There is also other help being made available, including £150 this summer for people on disability benefits.
