The storms that raged in the first half of the week caused a lot of damage in the country. More than 11,000 reports had been received by the disaster management department by Friday afternoon. Seven firefighters were injured during the damage relief work, two of them seriously. One of them broke his spine in three places, his lung collapsed, and he had to undergo several surgeries.
As of Friday afternoon, 11,665 reports had been received from across the country.
Seven firefighters were injured while responding to storm damage, two of whom suffered serious injuries - one of whom requires a controlled blood transfusion for treatment.
