Seven ducklings reunited with mom after EFD rescue

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- The Evansville Fire Department came to the rescue of seven ducklings stuck in a storm drain. The fire department gave a shout out on social media to A shift, Quint nine, Rescue one and Battalion two. The baby ducks are now reunited with their mother and will hopefully avoid storm drains in the future.

Officers with the Auburn Police Department found themselves responding to some unusually heartwarming calls over the weekend, including the rescue of eight baby ducks and an injured hawk.
