Serious Deficiencies Are Evident in the Security System of the Tacna Municipality

Through a monitoring visit conducted between 8 and 14 May, the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic revealed serious deficiencies in the security system in the city of Tacna. The report also found that at least 13 video surveillance cameras are inoperative and 3 without signal, limiting the ability to respond to criminal acts.
