Serbian Prime Minister Designate Warns Of Consequences If Dodik Is Arrested

Djuro Macut, Serbia’s Prime Minister designate, told parliament on Tuesday that Serbia will continue to stand with Republika Srpska and that the new government will carefully assess Serbia’s national interests, including the relationship with Serbs living outside of Serbia, adding that there will be consequences should the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, be arrested by Bosnian authorities.

The new Serbian government was elected on Wednesday by public vote, and the new prime minister will be Đuro Macut. 153 MPs voted in favor of the new government, 46 against the proposal. 51 MPs were absent, N1 reports.
