South Korea's exports from September 1 to 10 once again hit an all-time high for the period. Semiconductor exports alone reached $16.5 billion, rewriting the record for the highest export volume during this time. According to the Korea Customs Service's preliminary compilation of import and export figures for the period, total exports reached $35 billion, an 82.6% increase compared to the same period last year.
Exports in the first half of September reached $34.973 billion, marking the highest figure ever recorded for the 1st to 10th of the month. Semiconductor exports led overall growth, increasing by 270.1% year-on-year, while major items such as passenger cars also showed strong export performance.
