As diplomatic activity intensifies in New York ahead of the United Nations General Assembly, calculations have become complicated within the Netanyahu administration. Israeli media reported that a meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu is not currently on US President Donald Trump's schedule.
A US official, speaking to The Times of Israel, said Netanyahu was not among the leaders scheduled to meet with Trump on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly. The official stated that it seemed unlikely the two leaders' schedules would align for a bilateral meeting.
