Senior Tax Office public servant picked as APS Commissioner

Jacqui Curtis is the new Public Service Commissioner, starting in June 2026 after resignation of Gordon de Brouwer.

New APS chief appointed

Jacqui Curtis has been appointed Australian Public Service Commissioner. Curtis moves from the Australian Taxation Office where she has held the role of Chief Operating Officer since 2016. Before joining the tax office – where she was also Deputy Commissioner ATO People – Curtis held senior roles at the former Department of Human Services, rebranded Services Australia.
