Senate deal reached to cap insulin costs
The bipartisan INSULIN Act aims to prevent insulin rationing by capping monthly out-of-pocket costs at $35 for insured patients and piloting this for uninsured in 10 states.
A bipartisan bill introduced would cap the cost of insulin at $35 per month.
The bill would affect people on private and employer insurance, as well as create a pilot program for uninsured diabetics in 10 states.
