Semitractor fire in DeSoto

SCFR personnel were dispatched to a motor vehicle fire this morning at 2:47AM at Hwy 195 & Hwy 280 west in DeSoto. Upon arrival on scene Engine 41 crew reported a semitractor trailer on fire. The vehicle was clear of the roadway. A 1&3/4” hose line was deployed and the fire quickly extinguished. The trailer was carrying bauxite clay. No injuries were reported.
