Second annual Lupus Walk brings community together to support lupus research

The event took place on Saturday, May 17 at the Masonic Care Campus in Utica, where participants had the opportunity to choose between a one-mile walk, or a 5K run/walk, to exercise and have fun for a good cause: MMRI’s work to develop effective treatments, and possibly a cure for systemic lupus erythematosus.

This May 17, 2025, there was a walk to commemorate the Month of Lupus, a disease that is suffered by thousands of people in the world.
