Victoria's State Electricity Commission (SEC) and Italian clean technology company Energy Dome have announced plans to develop the state's first long-duration energy storage (LDES) facility.
The Australian utility company SEC has announced its plans to establish SEC Energy Works, an energy innovation centre in the Latrobe Valley in Victoria State. The 143-hectare property located in Hazelwood North, will provide a space for SEC to collaborate with industry in the development of a wide range of new energy infrastructure and storage technologies that will be needed for the future energy system.
