Police say David Taylor was last seen going for a dawn swim at Bunbury's Back Beach at about 5 o'clock, as part of his regular morning routine.

Weather hinders search for missing man off Bunbury coast

The 70-year-old was reported missing by his partner after failing to return from an early morning swim at Back Beach on Wednesday afternoon.

A significant number of emergency responders have been called out after reports of a swimmer in the sea at Fiskislóð in Reykjavík. The man has not been heard from since 5:00 pm.
