British Transport Police want help to find the attacker who assaulted a woman on a service from West Croydon

Detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a woman was sexually assaulted on a train from West Croydon.

A woman was sat on the train at 4.45pm on Wednesday the 6th of May when she was approached by a man who asked for money. He then began to invade her personal space before attempting to kiss her. Another passenger intervened and the man moved away through the carriage. Anyone who witnessed the incident is being urged to contact the British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 288, 6th of May.
