SEAL Academy in La Junta closes without warning, displacing special education students across Arkansas Valley - Bent County Democrat

Families had little to no warning before Santa Fe Trail BOCES’s SEAL Academy in La Junta closed its doors overnight back on Thursday, Sept. 3, according to records recently obtained by the La Junta Tribune-Democrat, displacing students across the Arkansas Valley who may have had emotional or behavioral needs and needed an alternative to traditional education.
