Second interpellation of Golob's government, SDS accuses him of lies and manipulation

For the second time this term, MPs are considering an interpellation of the government of Robert Golob, which was filed by the SDS due to Golob's statements on the pension reform from 2012. The day in the National Assembly will, as expected, be marked by a debate on the situation of pensioners. The proposers have not proposed any resolutions so far, but they may do so by the end of the 14-hour debate.

The interpellation, requested by the SDS, was heated. The coalition and the opposition accused each other of deliberately and consciously spreading lies.

After a good fourteen hours of debate in the National Assembly on the government's interpellation, the SDS proposed that the National Assembly adopt a resolution proposing to the government to end its mandate early. 43 deputies voted against the resolution, while 30 voted in favor.

When the government's interpellation was considered, the coalition deputies defended the government. The proponents of the SDS accused the abuse of the institute of interpellation and the exploitation of pensioners for political struggle. They drew on the actions of the previous government, which, in their opinion, worsened the situation of pensioners, and the measures of the current government to correct this situation.
