  • Husband Matthew Donoghue said the family are "broken" following the loss. Friend David Smith launched a GoFundMe that raised over £17,000 to help with unexpected costs for Kerry's children, Cara and Josh .
  • Her death was one of two tragedies on Saturday; Mum-of-two Sophie Fouracre, 34, also died after falling from a horse at Swalcliffe Park in Oxfordshire. British Eventing Chief Executive Rosie Williams extended condolences to both families.
  • The loss of two competitors on the same day has profoundly affected the sport. Williams expressed gratitude to emergency teams for their professionalism, noting the community remains "heartbroken" and sadness will be felt across the sport for time to come.
