Scientist's Cat, Again, Helps Discover New Virus

GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA, JUL 11 – Researchers identified a new Orthoreovirus strain named Gainesville shrew mammalian orthoreovirus type 3 strain UF-1 after genomic analysis of a virus isolated from a shrew, a rare viral genus.
