Riemst school bus hits tree, driver free & attendant hurt

In Riemst, a school bus from the Sint-Gerardusschool in Diepenbeek crashed into a tree. The driver and 2 other passengers were on board. One of them, a 15-year-old boy, was seriously injured and had to be freed by the emergency services. He and the bus attendant were taken to hospital. The cause of the accident is not yet known. The road is completely closed.
