SOUTH CAROLINA – Some drivers in South Carolina are getting a second chance. This is the SC DMV’s Driver Suspension Eligibility Week. Drivers with suspended licenses may be able to reduce or even clear their suspension by participating in the program. Drivers will be contacted if they’re eligible for the program. Suspensions related to alcohol or drug charges are not eligible.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Some drivers with suspended licenses may be able to reduce or clear their suspension time with the SC Department of Motor Vehicles’ Driver Suspension Eligibility Week. Drivers are eligible for the program if their licenses were suspended for driving with a suspension, provided the conviction was not related to alcohol or drugs.
