Swedish truck manufacturer Scania has introduced a new ‘lighter’ and more ‘efficient’ 11-litre engine, writes Peter Brown. The OEM said the new Super 11 engine is 85kg lighter than the Super 13, more efficient solution for high-performance transport and can deliver up to 7% in fuel saving compared to its nine-litre engine.
