Three weeks after informing the family of the young man killed by a police fire that nine exhibits were "introuvable" and three days after the media coverage of the disappearance, the Marseille justice finally found the missing seals... in the office of the judge who was looking for them.
A new judge in charge of the case had announced in early June to the family the disappearance of crucial exhibits in this case involving a police officer.
The victim's family had filed a complaint against the former prosecutor in charge of the case, whom she accused of having "voluntarily hijacked the nine seals." They were finally found after a year of research.
The seals, from the case of young Souheil killed by a policeman in 2021, who had disappeared, were found in the office of the investigating judge initially seized of the case.
Souheil, 19, was killed by a police fire in 2021. Since then, justice has been trampling on key evidence — including the fatal bullet. His aunt, Samia El Khalfaoui, is fighting hard for the truth to break out.
Souheil El Khalfaoui's family, killed in 2021 at the age of 19 by a policeman in Marseilles, is mobilizing again this Tuesday. Through the voice of the young man's father, invited on ICI Provence, she denounces serious dysfunctions in the investigation.
