Lomé, November 02, 2025-(©FreePress)- A major operation to destroy soft drinks took place on Saturday, November 1, 2025 in Dapaong (600 km north of Lomé), the capital of the Savanes region. Piloted by the governorate, in collaboration with the gendarmerie group, the regional police department and the customs division, this operation resulted in the destruction of more than 12,795 litres of alcoholic beverages unfit for consumption.
