- The deal comprises $2.25 billion paid in cash, a $300 million premium that is evenly divided between cash and stock, and an additional contingent consideration of $450 million which depends on the company’s financial results over the next three years.
- Forrest Norrod, AMD’s EVP of Data Center Solutions, explained that partnering with Sanmina will enhance U.S. Manufacturing capabilities and help deliver improved quality while shortening the delivery timeline for cloud customers.
- The transaction is anticipated to finalize toward the close of 2025, contingent upon regulatory clearance, allowing Sanmina to grow its scale and enhance its customer base within the Cloud and AI infrastructure sectors.
