ATLANTA, Ga. — Several local students earned places at the SkillsUSA National Competition from June 23-27 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Sandy Creek competes at SkillsUSA Nationals

The Sandy Creek High chapter qualified for SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference for the 18th consecutive year, earning two top 10 finishes along the way.  Emily Dykes ranked 8th in the nation in Pin Design out of 43 competitors. She earned a score of 92.23% and a Skill Point Certificate for proficiency.
