Criminal entrepreneur loses millions of euros to the state The South Karelia District Court has sentenced an entrepreneur from Lappeenranta to three years and eight months in prison for a felony regulatory offense. Rent ja Kalusto Oy, owned by Risto Mikael Riihimäki, 54, exported 135 trucks and 29 truck trailers to Russia between December 2022 and October 2023.
Despite EU sanctions, two brothers are said to have continued to trade with the country. They have put naivety and family pressure behind this, they now said in court.
