The government will announce to the Cortes Generales on Wednesday the recognition of the State of Palestine. This means that one day later, on May 22, it will happen instead of what was initially indicated. Pedro Sánchez announced this at the Socialist Party event held in Barcelona on Saturday, where Salvador Illa's victory in the Catalan elections was celebrated and Teresa Ribera's candidacy for the European elections on June 9 was supported.
