A man died in a car accident in San Diego, U.S., on Wednesday during a storm and 130 people had to be evacuated from their homes. All caused by a phenomenon called an atmospheric river by meteorologists.

The U.S. Weather Service warned that 38 million people are at risk of flooding, as the images of the tragedy speak for themselves. Houses and vehicles have been buried by mud and rubble, causing total losses. Water dragged hundreds of cubic meters of mud and debris and so far four people have lost their lives because of this climatic phenomenon.
For 48 hours, the San Bernardino area, east of Los Angeles, California, was flooded with heavy rains, resulting in flooding, landslides and mud flows.
