SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, AUG 5 – Samsung Display's MONT FLEX foldable OLED screens offer up to 500,000 folds with enhanced durability, thinner design, and reduced creasing, targeting next-gen foldable devices.
- Samsung Display is set to unveil its MONT FLEX brand during the Korea Display 2025 exhibition starting August 7 in Seoul.
- Last month, Samsung Display tested its foldable panel to endure 500,000 folds, more than double the previous 200,000 standard.
- With its acronym, the brand underscores durability and slimness, and Lead technology increases brightness and reduces thickness by up to 20%, Samsung said.
- Next year, MONT FLEX panels are expected in the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8, offering upgrades in design and durability.
