Sales tax early voting now open

Early in-person voting for the Wichita Special Election — which will decide whether the city implements a 1% sales tax — begins today.  The official special election date is March 3. Clerk announces sites now open for early voting

Limited early voting for suburban Cook County voters will begin Wednesday, Feb. 18, at six locations, giving voters an early opportunity to cast their ballot in the March 17 gubernatorial primary election, according to Cook County Clerk Monica Gordon.
