Forbidden since 1 January 2024, the sale of dogs and cats in pet stores could, until now, hardly be punished because of a lack of text setting the penalty incurred. A decree published at the beginning of August fills this void. It also provides for a fine for pet stores that display animals in display windows visible from the street.
