Women in Sairagi on Ghizo Island in Western Solomon Islands have turned sea grapes into a sustainable livelihood with international backing. Speaking at the Melanesian Ocean Summit, Jackie Thomas, working with World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF), said the journey began in 2004 when WWF visited as part of the Solomon Islands locally managed marine area network.
