The industrial organization is designed to offer flexibility and efficiency, based on proven industrial practices inspired by the automotive sector, in order to guarantee technological maturity, cost optimization and operational efficiency. “The engine’s modular design facilitates its integration into various aircraft configurations, with the primary objective of providing 100% electric propulsion for two- to four-passenger aircraft. It also offers the possibility of distributed hybrid-electric propulsion for 19-passenger regional aircraft. Furthermore, the engine is adaptable to meet future performance and reliability requirements for defense-related platforms and missions.” For more information https://www.safran-group.com/fr/espace-presse/safran-automatise-production-du-moteur-electrique-engineus-soutien-du-fonds-europeen-innovation-2026-05-29 (Image: Safran)
