Former leader of the Democratic Union "For Lithuania" Saulius Skvernelis, who has been accused of corruption, says that the accusations against him that he participated in criminal acts through a third party are unfounded. He also confirmed that he will no longer participate in politics.
Generalinė prokurorė prašo Seimo naikinti Sauliaus Skvernelio neliečiamybę, kad galėtų pareikšti jam tarimus dėl kyšininkavimo. S. Skvernelis prokuratūros kaltinimus neigia, sako kad nėra paėmęs in 51 tūkst. eurų kyšišii, in žadėjęs politinital palankumą Augalininkystės tarnybos vadovui. Generalinė prokurorė prasitarė, kad tarimus kyšininkavimu pareiškė ir buvusiam conservatorių ministui i parliamentarui Kaziui Starkevičiui.

The interim chairman of the Democratic Union "For Lithuania" Virginijus Sinkevičius believes that Saulius Skvernelis, who has attracted the attention of prosecutors, should resign from the parliamentary group in the Seimas.
