Dubicze Cerkiewne in Podlasie is a unique commune in Poland. It was there that Sławomir Mentzen won the first round of presidential elections. The Confederation candidate won 32.86 percent of the votes, defeating Rafał Trzaskowski (20.67 percent) and Karol Nawrocki (15.73 percent). The commune mayor, in an interview with Polsat News, indicated a possible cause — guests voting in the commune. A significant number of soldiers are stationed there.
