A French court has ruled to extradite Russian banker Vladimir Antonov, a former owner of English football club Portsmouth, to Lithuania, his lawyer said on Friday.
French justice has given its green light for the transfer of Vladimir Antonov, a multi-millionaire businessman, to Vilnius where he was sentenced to more than ten years in prison. He is currently incarcerated since mid-December in Rennes.
France accepts the extradition of Russian millionaire Vladimir Antonov at the request of Lithuania. Found in Brittany, he is suspected of having hijacked 478 million euros.
