The Russian figure skating star Kamila Waliewa has been denied the status of being a neutral athlete internationally. After individual aptitude tests, the World Federation of ISU has determined that "the conditions for participation as a neutral athlete are no longer met". Previously, the ISU had to examine a total of 234 neutrality forms for participation in ISU events and international competitions for the 2026/2027 season.
