- Amid a campaign to disrupt supply lines, Kyiv has launched a series of drone attacks in recent weeks aimed at cutting off resources supplying Moscow's war effort and targeted Russian oil refineries and oil terminals this year.
- At least 40 drones were downed over the Moscow region, with explosions and debris reported in civilian areas in Moscow suburbs as emergency crews clear crash sites, Russia said.
- Flights were diverted from all of Moscow's main airports, with Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Zhukovsky imposing temporary restrictions amid risk to Moscow city and Moscow region's 22 million residents.
- On Dec 11, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, will be joined by more than 30 countries in a virtual meeting, following a Ukrainian navy and security services operation that disabled a Russian 'shadow fleet' oil tanker.
